About this Cat
Meeka's personality is as lovely as her looks. She still has her kitten-like playfulness. She loves to climb the cat tree and look out the window. She enjoys playing with her toys; although she doesn't really care for roughhousing or play wrestling. Meeka is quite the chatty "Catty" too, once she's gets to know you , she will carry a conversation with you. It took all of 3 days for her to be so comfortable and feeling part of the family, as if it were always that way. She comes running and flops over for belly rubs and will cuddle on a lap any time of day. In fact, she relishes in the attention she gets so much so, that when she feels ignored, she will politely butt-in and request lovins and cuddles with a distinct meow. Then happily purrs with content when she gets what she wants. She snuggles with both her male and female humans, and loves other pets too, both cats and dogs, especially dogs! She loves cuddling in bed and confidently shares that space with all her foster feline and canine friends. Yet she is quite adaptable to single households of no other pets with her current foster and adores all the attention she gets. Meeka has wonderful house manners too, it's as if she has finally found the life she deserves! Meeka does not scratch people or furniture, although she happily claws the cardboard and rope scratchers around the house. Her litterbox manners are immaculate and she doesn't seem interested in going back outside. However, When Meeka needs some quiet time she likes to take a nap where she feels secure, in a closet or under the couch/bed. Meeka would love a home where she's not left alone much, either with someone retired or working from home and/or with another companion animal for company. Small children have not been tested out on her. However, a cat-savvy dog could be a wonderful bond. Meeka is young but matured and healthy, fixed and vetted, and ready for her new adventure with her adopters. She has been fixed and vaccinated in 5/23. And updated her Rabies on 5/6/24, good for another 3 years. Also updated her FVRCP with FelV vaccine on 8/11/24 and will get it boosted. She is flea treated monthly and been dewormed thrice. And she will be microchipped at time of adoption. We are asking $175 as the adoption fee and will be delivered to your home with medical records. Indoor only.
