About this Dog
Amelia and her sisters escaped the brutal life of growing up to become a puppymill Mom. She and her sisters were released by a breeder and into our care. We are so happy they joined us, Amelia is a sweet tail wagging puppy who loves to play with her sisters and jump up to give kisses. She will be a wonderful companion as a single dog or with another gentle companion pup. Amanda is a sweet poodle/bichon and shihtzu mix puppy released from a puppy mill breeder. She is a touch shy at first but will easily lose her timidity and blossom in her own loving home. She is about 5 months old, tiny and not likely to get very much bigger. She weighs about 8.2 lbs. Like all puppies she will need structure and a patient loving home. We recommend training for all puppies not only to give the puppy learning skill. But you and your puppy/dog will create a stronger bond just for having gone to training. Amelia is fully vetted, She has been spayed, received age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, Subsequent vaccines are at the expense of her adopter, Her adoption donation is $1200.00. She is on the hunt for her own completely committed family, Little Dogs can live to be 20+ years old so she wants to be sure her family is all in for better or for worse! IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 12 MONTHS): YOU MUST HAVE A FLEXIBLE WORK SCHEDULE OR SOMEONE HOME ALL DAY. PUPPIES NEED TO BE LET OUT TO POTTY OFTEN, THEY NEED SOCIALIZATION AND BONDING AND NEED TRAINING (HOUSETRAINING AND BEHAVIORAL TRAINING). IF YOU WORK LONG HOURS, HAVE A BUSY SOCIAL SCHEDULE OR NOT FINANCIALLY SECURE THEN A PUPPY IS NOT FOR YOU. We adopt in the local Chicago metro area. We require home visits, If you would like to apply to be considered as an adoption candidate to adopt Amelia please fill out an application for her adoption on our website at: https://www.rescuetailsanimalwelfare.org/info/aoption We are all volunteers with full time jobs. Adopt Amelia and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Amelia's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Amelia's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Amelia, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Amelia's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Amelia was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Amelia’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Amelia’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Amelia’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
