About this Cat
Durian Ice Cream Kid is an orange boy as sweet as his namesake (well, the “ice cream” part). Whenever he gets a chance, he will stroll over to give you nose kisses and curl up on your lap to cuddle, effectively rendering you in-cat-pacitated. Look no further for the lap cat of your dreams! He does indeed exhibit stereotypical orange cat personalities — he is confident and brave, exploring every nook and cranny of his surroundings. He is unfazed by most anything, from new people to vacuum cleaners, though he will give questionably long, blank stares to unwelcome creatures in the house such as dogs. Durian came to us from the city shelter with a history of severe allergies that causes him to itch and over-groom. He has received long-term medical care (along with a special diet and cone duty to stop further damage), and has improved remarkably in the past few months! We are happy to speak further about his medical condition and needs with interested adopters. Durian would be best suited as a single cat in an active household or with another active cat in the home.
