About this Cat
This cat is part of our shelter outreach program where we take pets from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them. They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. FIV/Felv negative. Rudy came to us from an overcrowded NJ shelter where he was he was found as a sickly, neglected stray back in January. Now we know why he's so sweet, mellow, happy and content these days, he's nearly doubled in weight, he's healthy, well-fed, warm and cared for. That was not at all the case when he was found and we can't imagine how this super sweet guy was ever out on the streets, all alone. Rudy is only about a year old and he's full of personality and he positively loves everyone he meets. Rudy has zero shyness about him and he's always ready to get up, get going, and check out new things. While he welcomes all of the attention you'll give him, he will definitely let you know when he's had enough, or even when he hears a noise that startles him. Due to this, he's best in a home with no young kids. He also seems to have an aversion to other cats as well. The good news is, he'll love you as much as a dozen cats would if you give him the great home he's been dreaming of!

Adopt Rudy and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Rudy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Rudy's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Rudy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Rudy's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rudy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rudy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Rudy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rudy’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
