About this Dog
Cara is the sweetest little soul you shall ever meet. She came to rescue as a breeder release and with a tummy full of puppies. She was an excellent momma and is now ready to find a very special family to call her own. Cara loves everybody and loves to be the center of attention. She does great with all of the other dogs in her foster home but loves her people more than anything. She has done wonderfully with her housetraining as well. Cara does have some special needs and will need an extra special family because of this. She has chronic dry eye that requires drops 2-3 times a day. She also has a grade IV heart murmur with mild heart enlargement and has started Vetmedin (a heart medication given twice a day and costs around $100/month. Cara's medical needs will be discussed in depth with potential adopters. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: Physically fenced in yard to keep her safe - no invisible fences. Leash/harness walking is still a work in progress. Cara also has slightly impaired vision due to her chronic dry eye not being properly managed prior to coming to rescue. Financially stable family willing and able to provide Cara with the medications and specialized veterinary care she needs. Cara will need to be seen every 6 months or so for heart checks, etc. Cara has been spayed and also had a dental. She tested negative for heartworm & tick-borne disease, is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $350 plus tax.

Adopt Cara and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cara's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Cara's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Cara, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Cara's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cara was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cara’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Cara’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cara’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
