About this Dog
Frank is an older gent who was surrendered to us on 4/21/2024 due to his owner's health issues. This good ol' coonhound is about 9 years old now and did live most of his former life outside. He was trained to hunt coyotes and has a few scars to show it. He's a big and strong dude with a kind and somewhat mellow disposition. He has been vet checked, neutered, chipped, and his fee is $150. We think Frank would make a nice companion for someone who has the space for him - space being the key word. He enjoys the great outdoors, ambling around looking for adventure. He doesn't ask for a lot and is very loyal. As a hound he definitely follows his nose so a secure environment is important. He would do best in an adult only home. Teens are fine. He is accustomed to the company of other dogs. Cats are a no. NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. Keep an eye on your emails if you apply. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventative, and spayed or neutered.

Adopt Frank and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Frank's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Frank's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Frank, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Frank's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Frank was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Frank’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Frank’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Frank’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
