About this Rabbit
Hello, my name is Lewis! I'm an adventurous guy who loves to zoom around and binky with all my might during my daily free roam time. Pet tunnels and blankets are my absolute favorite playgrounds, but I’ve also got a soft spot for this long box my foster mom has. She’s also given me some stacking cups and baby keys that I play with from time to time. I tend to get a little started by sudden loud noises or swift movements, so please approach me quietly and gently. I can be a little shy at first, but typically warm up to you quickly, especially if you’re on my level. I don’t mind being picked up when I’m in my x-pen, and I tolerate being held, but I’d prefer not to be picked up while I’m out exploring. As far as chewing goes, I’m quite happy with a cardboard box. I’ve left my foster mom’s baseboards alone and haven’t been tempted by her protected cords. When left unattended, I don’t destroy anything and behave myself. Also, my litter box habits are spot-on, making me an excellent free-roam bunny. I’m not a big fan of cats and I haven’t met any dogs, so I’m not sure how I’d react to them. I’m very curious about meeting the other bunnies at romp & spas, so I may do well with a bond mate. As for food, I absolutely love my evening spring mix! When it comes to treats, I’m all about apples, strawberries, and bananas. I would thrive in a home where I can get a couple of hours every day outside the pen and where people will hang out on the floor with me - I adore coming up to you when you’re at my level! So, if you’re looking for a sweet, playful bunny who enjoys a bit of adventure and quality time at his level, I might just be the perfect match for you. *RRMN does not recommend our rabbits as companion animals for anyone under the age of 10* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Male Approximate birthdate: 7/19/2023 Approximate weight: 3.4 pounds Adoption fee: $95.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.

Adopt Lewis and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lewis's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Lewis's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Lewis, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Lewis's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lewis was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lewis’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Lewis’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lewis’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
