About this Dog
Oso arrived in rough shape, severely malnourished, weighing only 46 pounds, heartworm positive, and with a lot of skin issues. Oso couldn’t be a sweeter boy and is now nicknamed Oso Sweet. He is the Pyrfect gentleman with excellent house manners and a low to medium activity level. He is housebroken, crate trained and walks well on a leash. He also knows the commands to sit, wait, treat and come. Oso loves people, including children. He is gentle and great with kids and good with other dogs, currently living with a foster sister pup. Oso loves nothing more than meeting people while out on a walk or going on a car ride. Oso doesn’t dig, and will bark to protect his kingdom. He prefers to spend his time inside being snuggled or brushed. Oso has a chicken allergy and his skin has been clearing up and his fur has mostly grown back. Favorite foods include peanut butter and cheese as well as bread and rolls, and if he snatches one he will not give up his treasure. Oso likes to lay down while he eats, preferring to take his breakfast in bed. If you are looking for a sweet, laid-back goofball who will keep you laughing and smiling at his froggy pose, then Oso is your guy! Despite being let down by humans in the past Oso Sweet is ready to love and be loved, and wins over the hearts of everyone he meets. Oso will bring nothing but love to your home. - Written by H.B.
