About this Cat
Clarence is a sweet, loving soul who is working on gaining his confidence back following several years living as an outdoor cat after being previously owned in the past. He is good with cats and dogs, and seems keen on trying to make friends with the other animals in his foster home. He's the shy, submissive type who will approach another animal with hope of friendship, but will quickly take a hint if his advances are unwanted. Clarence enjoys spending time cuddled up next to his person on the couch and getting petted while gently purring, as well as watching the birds from a windowsill perch. Clarence is NOT the loud, mischievous type; he's a quiet, tentative sweetheart who is simply very appreciative of having love and comfort back in his life again. Loud noises and chaos may cause him to run and find a hiding spot for a few minutes, but he will soon reappear for more attention once he feels things are safe again. In a quieter environment, expect to find Clarence laying comfortably in a cozy spot, him looking at you with fond eye contact as you enter the room, asking you to come say hi and offer some love. Clarence has recently had some issues with his health that may or may not be a concern for him again in the future. After being rescued from the outdoors, he was found to have gingivitis and several rotten teeth. He had eight teeth removed at once back in April; he still has some gingivitis, although his mouth has healed otherwise. A few days after the tooth removal and some environmental stress in the home, Clarence developed symptoms of pancreatitis, which resolved after a few days of TLC. However, there is a chance this could flare up again in the future. Recently in June Clarence began pulling his fur out around his hind end; he was discovered to be constipated, so he is currently on a course of stool softeners through September, which may or may not need to continue into his future. These are liquid medications that Clarence happily eats mixed in with his daily wet food. Adopt Clarence and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Clarence's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Clarence's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Clarence, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Clarence's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Clarence was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Clarence’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Clarence’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Clarence’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
