Meet *Waggo* Waffles Affectionate, snuggly Waggo Waffles seeks his furever home! This charming little golden nugget is a 4-year-old, 16-pound Chihuahua mix.Waffles has a heart of gold and loves to snuggle and play. At first, he might get excitedthinking you might be his person. When greeting his favorite people, he can get verywiggly and might even give a little nip out of pure enthusiasm. Don't worry: He settlesdown quickly, then it's all happy snuggles! Waffles would do best in a home with someone who can shower him with affection.When left alone in his pen, he might cry at first – but rest assured, he calms down andsleeps soundly through the night. He wants you to get your rest, too. He also isn’t a picky eater: He just wants to finish his dinner and get back to snuggling! Waffles is a lively little guy and enjoys his squeaky toys. He's also still making progresswith learning basic commands but has almost mastered house training, so he would appreciate yourcoaching and patience. While he gets along with other dogs, he craves to be the center of attention. Due to hisinitial exuberance, Waffles might not be the best fit for small children or those withbalance issues. Also, ask us about our seniors for seniors program, where we adopt animals 5 years or older to qualified homes with a $5 donation as an adoption fee. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites and given any additional treatments (dental work, bloodwork etc) as recommended by our vet. Adoptions to veterans of the US Armed Services are ALWAYS free to thank you for your service.
