About this Dog
Meet Luna: A Resilient Canine Companion Meet Luna, a remarkable pup who has overcome incredible odds. Despite spending a whopping 595 days in the shelter, Luna's spirit remains unbroken. Her journey isn't just about waiting; it's a testament to resilience and the unwavering hope for finding a forever home. Since being rescued by WARF, Luna has blossomed into a beacon of hope, love, and joy. At just 3 years old, she's already shown incredible adaptability and a zest for life. Luna's story is a reminder of the transformative power of love and patience. In her foster home, Luna has shown her playful side, eagerly sharing toys and space with her foster brothers. Within the first week, she was already frolicking and playing with them, a testament to her social nature. While Luna adores her foster siblings, her heart truly belongs to her human companion. She craves companionship and thrives on affection, eagerly seeking out cuddles and playtime. Luna's enthusiasm for life is infectious, whether she's playing fetch, engaging in tug-of-war, or simply enjoying a good back scratch. Her playful antics brings joy to every moment. Luna is currently in the process of learning how to play and interact with other dogs. When meeting new dogs, she tends to be quite intrusive and intense. Additionally, if the other dogs are high-energy, she exhibits herding behavior. Luna seems to do better with calmer, more submissive dogs, especially when the introduction is gradual. However, during walks, she becomes reactive when encountering unfamiliar dogs, pulling, lunging, and barking. Despite these challenges, consistent training and positive reinforcement can contribute to Luna's improvement. She has made significant progress in her behavior and demonstrated trustworthiness when left home alone without being crated. She is housebroken and crate trained, although she doesn't enjoy being in the crate. As Luna continues to explore her newfound freedom and embrace the joys of being a dog, her journey serves as an inspiration to all who meet her. With love, patience, and understanding, Luna is sure to thrive in her forever home, bringing endless joy and companionship to those lucky enough to welcome her into their lives. Adopt Luna and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Luna's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Luna's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Luna, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Luna's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Luna was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Luna’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Luna’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Luna’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
