About this Dog
*ON NEEDS RESCUE SINCE FEBRUARY 2024*09/10/24 04:56DOG DAY OUT REPORT Today I: met a new friend who took me for a drive and a walk, I was soooo excited to meet my new friend and go out. I was a little unsure about jumping in the car by myself, but with a little encouragement I hopped in all on my own. Iâm a good boy in the car and stay nicely in the back, I also like to stick my head out the window and feel the wind in my ears. Donât let my short legs fool you. I can still put in the miles, and I like to jump up on the picnic tables to see if thereâs anything good up there. I love treats and am happy to show off my sit for some. I also love people and dogs and want to say hi to everyone. To end the walk we went to Starbucks and I got a pupcup â delicious! Three Words to Describe Me are: Happy, Affectionate, Well-Mannered Notes from My Walker: Justin is a happy guy who is very excited to meet people. He was a bit jumpy when leashing up (beware of accidental head butts) but he was just excited to get going. He was a little unsure about jumping in the car on his own but with some encouragement he did hop in. He was a little nervous in the car but was very good about staying in the back and liked putting his head out the window. Despite his excitement to get out Justin is a very good loose leash walker with minimal pulling. He is quite interested in other people and dogs but is not reactive (no barking or lunging) and just wants to say hi. We had a reactive off leash dog charge us twice before the owner got control and he handled it great by not engaging and staying right next to me. He was also very good when some people stopped to ask questions, he just leaned against me for pets while waiting to continue. He is an affectionate guy who enjoyed snuggling up for some pets when we took breaks (can be a touch mouthy when excited during petting). Overall and sweet, friendly, happy-go-lucky boy.07/30/24 10:37Reason animal needs rescue: Extended length of stay, no interested adopters.Date animal needs rescue by: ASAP (has been on needs rescue since February)Impound type: StrayOff stray hold: YesAdditional notes: Friendly, neutered male pitbull mix who has been in shelter system since January. SD07/04/24 02:33DOG DAY OUT REPORT Today I: got to go on my first Dog Day Out - I was so wiggly with excitement that it took an extra minute for my new friend to get me leashed up! I didnât know how to get in the car at first so my friend helped me in, and oh boy was I glad he did; the car is funnn! I wanted to lean my whole body out the window and catch the wind with my mouf, but I was told safety first so I sat in the middle seat instead and had some snacks. We walked 3.5 miles around Jeffrey Fontana Park - that place was fun too! There were birds, dogs, squirrels and other friends to check out. With all that adventuring, I had to drink lots of water (even got to use the water fountain a couple of times ;D ), and I got the best scratches while laying under a shady tree. Before I had to go back to the shelter, we checked out Pet Food Express - lots of good smells in there; must go back! Oh, and I got in the car all on my own the last time #successThree Words to Describe Me are: Playful, Gregarious, JoyfulNotes from My Walker: I just love Justinâs smile and the way he prances along - his personality is contagious! If you havenât met a happy-go-lucky dog before, this guy is a great example. This handsome dude was a ball of energy at first: took some wrangling to leash him up, and had to endure a couple of jump ups that had running starts but that was short lived. Once the initial energy/excitement wore off, he was great on leash. Everyone is his friend and he wants to play with them all. It doesnât take much to redirect his attention - snacks work but you need to put them directly in front of his nose; a low whistle works best to capture his attention though. I had to lift him into the car twice but he figured it out on his own the last time.

Adopt JUSTIN and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, JUSTIN's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is JUSTIN's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the JUSTIN, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming JUSTIN's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and JUSTIN was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, JUSTIN’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the JUSTIN’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, JUSTIN’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
