About this Dog
Some things are unknowable; like when and where he was born, if he took after his mother or his father, his first favorite toy, what his owner called him, or even why he ended up a stray picked up by animal control in Kentucky before he was brought in by a rescue in Pennsylvania. But, some things are obvious about Aiden. 1) Aiden is ageless. He's been placed at 4, 6, 8 -- no one can be certain. He moves around like an old man, he can't hear very well, his sight is a little cloudy, and he has a cough that will never fully go away due to some scarring from a bad case of pneumonia. But, he lights up with a new toy, or a new human. Or snow. 2) Aiden loves snow. He runs at full speed back and forth in the yard at his foster home. Maybe the cold does something for his bones and joints, maybe it just makes him feel like a puppy again. 3) Aiden loves children. He has natural protective and herding instincts and relaxed immediately in the presence of his high energy three year old human foster sister. Her gift offerings may have helped. 4) He loves soft things: blankets, rugs, pillows, and especially stuffed animals. 5) At some point, Aiden was loved. Before he had to survive on the streets, he had been trained and was attentive to an owner. He knows how to play fetch, how to "drop it" and how to "sit". He probably knows a lot of other things too, for the right person to bring back out in him. 6) Aiden deserves to be loved again. This is the most obvious thing about him when you meet him. Aiden deserves to spend the second half of his life truly loved. He doesn't seem to care about cats and can take or leave a dog as long as they don't get in his face, but against all odds, Aiden absolutely adores people. Small children aren't too much for him. Strangers are welcome to become friends. He just wants to be where the people are. He wants to cuddle up to a movie or a good book. He wants to lay under a desk while you work, or go for a walk when you have a break. Above all, he just wants you. And after the unknowable life he's lived, he deserves to be wanted, in return.

Adopt Aiden and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Aiden's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Aiden's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Aiden, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Aiden's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Aiden was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Aiden’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Aiden’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Aiden’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
