About this Cat
Meet Georgie, an enchanting bicolored brown tabby/white cat with a striking appearance and a heartwarming story. Estimated to be born on May 18, 2019, Georgie was a beloved neighborhood community cat in Delaware, OH, until a compassionate neighbor brought her to Colony Cats on March 16, 2024, seeking a safer and more loving home for her. Georgie’s unique “cap and saddle” bicolored pattern adds to her charm. This term refers to the dark fur cap on her head and the saddle-like patch on her back. However, what truly sets Georgie apart is the distinctive tabby patch on the left side of her face. This tabby patch is like a birthmark, bisecting her nose in a fascinating blend of brown and pink, a result of her mixed coloration. This intriguing feature is due to the intricate interplay of genes responsible for coat color in cats, showcasing the beauty of genetic diversity. Although a bit shy and occasionally prone to hissing when scared, Georgie is not aggressive. She craves gentle affection and melts into chin scratches, leaning in for more once she feels safe. Her gentle nature and sweet disposition make her a delightful companion for a patient and loving home. Georgie is spayed, vaccinated, and FIV/FeLV negative, ensuring she is healthy and ready for her forever home. If you are looking for a unique and endearing feline friend, Georgie is waiting to bring joy and love into your life. Adopt Georgie and give her the loving home she deserves! Come meet me at the cage-free Adoption Center! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. **If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Adopt Georgie and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Georgie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Georgie's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Georgie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Georgie's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Georgie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Georgie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Georgie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Georgie’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
