About this Dog
If friendliness had a face, it would be 2-year-old Ferret’s face! At a fit 45 pounds, the sweet, gentle and affectionate black and white beauty LOVES being hugged and petted by his foster dad, putting his paw on him or resting his head on him for more of the close and comfy cuddling he craves. He also loves having his chin and belly rubbed, burrowing beneath the covers, and army crawling his way under the furniture when he gets the zoomies. An eager explorer of his environment and avid adventurer, Ferret loves going for long walks and hikes with his foster dad and accompanying him on rides, short and long, in the car. Always playful and excited to meet other dogs of assorted sizes, he gets along wonderfully with children of all ages, and does well with cats. Extremely fond of meat-based treats such as hot dogs and beef, Ferret loves any type of chew toy or bone, and has a favorite, hard plastic chew toy that he plays with every night. Motivated by food and love (he responds positively to any kind of love and affection), he currently knows “come,” “stay” and “no,” and is crate trained and almost fully house-trained. Now all Ferret needs to fulfill his dream of happily-ever-after is an especially loving and demonstrative home, perhaps with another canine companion, to complete his training, including his commands, and keep him content, both mentally and physically, fur-ever. Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for any rabies vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email [email protected] for more information, as we can't accept calls at this time.

Adopt Ferret and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ferret's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Ferret's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Ferret, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Ferret's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ferret was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ferret’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Ferret’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ferret’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
