About this Dog
This is a courtesy post. Please do not contact Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue. Contact information is provided in the description below.Teddy is a Lab/Husky/Pit mix. He is about a year old and about 64 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Teddy has been looked after by a kind person after neighbors saw him get dumped out of a vehicle. Unfortunately, this person's pets do not get along with him, so he needs a new home.Teddy loves to go walking, play with his toys, and go on hikes. His favorite treats are jerky sticks and peanut butter. He also loves rolling around in the leaves and playing fetch with his ball. He is initially fearful with other dogs, but has improved and seems to have done very well with recent interactions. He may be timid/shy at first but has not barked or showed reactive behaviors after some recent socialization. Teddy does have anxiety at times, but mostly just starts panting and gets nervous. He has some puppy behavioral issues that need some work (like jumping and pulling), but has already improved in the time that the owner has had him. He knows commands like “sit”, “stay”, “place”, “down” and “leave it”. He is kennel/crate trained. He has not stayed in the house unless he is in a kennel, so not sure if he is house trained yet. The owner will donate all the food, toys, supplies, etc., as well as provide all of his vet documentation. If you are interested in Teddy, please contact Autumn at [email protected] or [email protected]

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Teddy (Courtesy Post), thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Teddy (Courtesy Post)'s Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Teddy (Courtesy Post) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Teddy (Courtesy Post)’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Teddy (Courtesy Post)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Teddy (Courtesy Post)’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
