About this Cat
Mamma Mia, that's one sweet cat! Mia is an adorable and energetic young cat ready to find her forever home. Her ideal day is spent sleeping, playing with string toys, and her ideal night is spent curling up at the foot of the bed. Mia would thrive in a quiet home that provides her enrichment as well as comfortable places to hide. She also love watching the birds from a window sill. She is a very gentle a girl and makes a great bestie! Her foster mom says she's "Literally the best cat I’ve ever had. She is so kind and loving and loves to play. She's a gem!" Mia has a small limp due to an old injury which has since healed, but she doesn't let that stop her! Mia is also FIV and FeLV+ positive. Because of this she would thrive as an only cat, could live with other animals, or cohabitate with other calm FeLV+ cats! Age: 1 year How I came to PAWS: Owner Surrender Animal ID#: A55710 **Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) is a virus that is specific to cats that weakens a cat’s immune system. Cats with FeLV can live normal, happy, healthy lives—but with a shorter life expectancy than cats without FeLV. At PAWS, we believe every pet deserves to live out their life in a loving home for whatever time they have. We hope you'll consider opening your home to this special kitty! For more information feel free to check out the FeLV FAQs we have available on our website!** **FIV is specific to the feline species, and is not transmissible to dogs, humans, or any other animals. It is spread from cat to cat via mating or deep puncture bite wounds. Thankfully, all our cats are spayed or neutered so mating is no longer an option! Since FIV does not spread through casual contact like grooming, sneezing, and food/litter sharing, FIV+ cats can live with other cats that have tested negative as long as the cats get along without fighting.** This pet's adoption fee is waived and they'll go home with a $100 gift card to use towards cat supplies! I am not at the shelter. Please email [email protected] to learn more about me! When she curls into a ball or watches the birds from my windowsill. She is so gentle too so she never hurts me.

Adopt Mia and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mia's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Mia's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Mia, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Mia's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mia was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mia’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Mia’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mia’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
