About this Cat
Due to technical issues with some adoption sites, please email us directly at [email protected] to inquire about adopting or to ask questions. Please include the animal's name in the email. Please Meet Parker Lee and Terry Jo! From their foster mom: I call them my Detroit girls. I rescued them from their shelter when they came in as orphaned kittens. They were failing to thrive when I took them. I battled hard to keep them going with support and vet visits. I'm so proud of where they are now and they are just the most loving, fun, adventurous girls. They are ready for adoption. I'd love if they could go together. But I have to find that special soul who will love Parker every day, as she is on borrowed time. Parker has a congenital heart defect. It's her valve. Unfortunately, she is not a candidate for a surgical attempt to open the valve based on her size. She will be on meds for life to support her heart, but they are not a cure. They will help her heart from working so hard. They are liquid and once a day. She takes them well. We don't know exactly how long she has... maybe 1-2 years. She has seen a cardiologist and Shelter to Home will work with an adopter for any future appointments. It's a big ask, but if you think you can love these two and give them both the best life, especially Parker... email us at [email protected].**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**

Adopt Terry Jo and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Terry Jo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Terry Jo's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Terry Jo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Terry Jo's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Terry Jo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Terry Jo’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Terry Jo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Terry Jo’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
