About this Rabbit
Hey! I'm Gritty, the adventure-seeking lionhead bunny with a penchant for snacks and adventure! My brother, Groot, is my best friend so we must be adopted together. We're inseparable and love competing to see who can binky higher when we're out playing together. Despite my small size, I'm always up for big adventures, especially if there's food involved - which often ends up on top of my head because I get so excited! My hobbies include exploring every nook and cranny, binkying like there's no tomorrow, and of course, begging for treats with my signature tongue-out look. Cilantro and lettuce are my absolute favorites, though I do enjoy the occasional fruit treat. Funny thing is, I don't have any front teeth, but that doesn't slow me down one bit. I'm a pro at eating hay and pellets, so my dental health is top-notch - you might catch my tongue peeking out when I'm excited for snacks! I'm not into chewing cords, so your electronics are safe with me around. I'm a busy bunny when I'm out and about, so I might not come right up to you at first, but give me some time and I'll warm up. At our foster home we've been around kids and other bunnies without any issues – as long as a trusted adult makes sure our space is respected, we're cool with just about anyone, even dogs! Now, about that litter box... Groot and I are working on it. We're getting better every day, and once we're settled in our own home, we'll be pros in no time. Trust me, when you meet us, you won't be able to resist our charm. We promise to bring endless joy and plenty of adorable antics to brighten your days! *RRMN does not recommend our rabbits as companion animals for anyone under the age of 10* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Male Approximate birthdate: 3/9/2021 Approximate weight: 2.6 pounds Adoption Fee for Pair: $150.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.

Adopt Gritty and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Gritty's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Gritty's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Gritty, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Gritty's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Gritty was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Gritty’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Gritty’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Gritty’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
