About this Cat
Come meet Lance! This sociable kitty with the stunning black and white coat is looking for a forever home. Lance came to ARC from another shelter that was out of space. Being an easy-going kitty, Lance adjusted quickly to his new surroundings at ARC. Now, Lance enjoys lounging on a cushy chair near the entrance where he can watch everyone coming into his house and welcome cuddling, petting, and affection from all. Come meet Lance and see for yourself what a great companion he would make. Lance has Feline leukemia (FeLv) -- a disease that only affects cats -- it cannot be transmitted to people, dogs, or other animals. FeLV is passed from one cat to another through saliva, blood, and to some extent, urine and feces. There is presently no cure for FeLV infection. Secondary infections can be treated as they appear. Being the good-natured kitty Lance is, he takes his medications easily when needed.
