About this Dog
IN VERMONT - AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER TO ADOPT! Meet Tinsel (possibly Ocean's mama)! https://youtu.be/dt1iff9c_8M Tinsel is 4 years old, female (approx. DOB 12-5-19), 51 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and microchipped. In my current host home (1 dog Ocean, 2 adults, average alone time, yard): • I am good with my BFF and would likely be good with other dogs • I may be good with cats but it’s unknown because I’ve never met one. I am curious about yard animals and don’t seem to have a prey drive, but the Robins in the yard seem to want me to play with them! • I have low-medium energy and am happy to go for walks. I play with Ocean for a short time but then love to go back inside with my human. • I am a bit shy and afraid of new people; I haven’t met a lot of new people in my life. • I would love to be the center of someone’s world and am so in need of affection and love. I am confident with my favorite humans. • I am crate trained and like my crate; it’s my safe space. Sometimes I even go in on my own when I want quiet time. I currently sleep in my crate at night and can’t wait to learn to sleep in my humans' room on my own bed! • I am potty trained and I haven’t chew items I shouldn’t! • I love mealtime; it’s my favorite! I LOVE food! I am learning to “Sit” and wait for my meals; I love to please my humans! • I don’t like being left in a room by myself; I love to be included in everything! • I have already learned these commands in training with my foster mom: Sit, treat, on your bed, let’s kennel up, no, get busy (to potty), and I am learning paw although it confuses me a bit. • I am afraid of cars and traffic; I think I lived in a quiet rural area in my past world. Noises and strange sounds take me a little time to get used to. Once I experience things a couple of times though I learn quickly what to expect! Tinsel is a dog that needs her person’s love and approval. She would be happiest in a calm, quiet environment (rural vs city). She will do well with consistency, kindness, clarity, and structure. She is gentle and will win your heart with the way she looks at you. She needs someone with a big heart because we think she has been through a lot that we don’t know and you know what she is still so sweet even though she’s afraid sometimes. Tinsel wags her tail all the time. She is a very happy girl. She is a petite sweet (much smaller than the picture makes her look) who will be so grateful to whoever steps up as her hero! If you are interested in adopting Tinsel please fill out an Application at www.Passion-4-Paws.org (please make sure you have the Vermont site not CT) - thanks! Please note Fosters have 1st option of Adoption. Check out her Facebook page (and "Like" us while you're there)!

Adopt Tinsel and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Tinsel's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Tinsel's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Tinsel, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Tinsel's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tinsel was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tinsel’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Tinsel’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tinsel’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
