About this Dog
Loyal Milton lived outside, unloved, uncared for, until his decline in health was noticed. SSR came to the rescue. This gentle boy is a bit timid when initially meeting men and with a little time he warms up to them. We think this is due to past trauma. This mellow guy is good with older children. Milton has some instability in his hind quarters. X-rays revealed an old spinal compression fracture at T13. Milton is in no pain. He would benefit best with limited stairs and having a carpeted area. He does well in grassy areas too, run-hops and fun times. Milton is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, housebroken, sixty pounds, crate trained, and easy on the leash. He is heartworm positive. SSR will continue to pay for his slow kill heartworm treatment. Milton is good with dogs AND cats. A rare moment of excitement for Milton is when feeding time comes. He also responds well to the 'NO' command. Affectionate Milton is in search of a forever home, to prove his loyalty, lay at your feet, and chill with you!
