About this Cat
Afin d'avoir une chance de l'adopter, veuillez remplir notre formulaire d'adoption directement sur notre site web: https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/nous-contacter/formulaire-adoption/ Nakoma is a little cat who was found as a stray in Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-lac. A well-meaning person found Nakoma outside and brought her to us in November 2022. Little Nakoma took a long time before trusting us. The socialization team worked with her to ensure that today she lets herself be touched and stroked. At first, she was shy about accepting caresses, but now she's crazy about them! She can be stroked all over her body, and now purrs easily. She comes down from her perch when she feels confident, and reaches for the treats in our hand. She's becoming more and more curious, but she's still a cat who'll need some gentleness and time. She gets on well with other cats, but would not be a good match for a family with children or a dog. Nakoma is an adult cat, therefore the adoption fees for her are $290. She is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV). You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the support of the adoption team for as long as you need it. You will also have access to a free 30 minutes video consultation during the first 3 months following the adoption with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood ( https://www.felinegood.ca ). Adopt Nakoma and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Nakoma's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Nakoma's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Nakoma, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Nakoma's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Nakoma was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Nakoma’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Nakoma’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Nakoma’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
