About this Dog
Animal Profile: Raven is a female Cattle Dog/Great Pyrenees mix (best guess), estimated to be 1 year old and currently weighing 50lbs. She and her 3 siblings were surrendered to Freer Animal Shelter and were then taken in by our rescue partner in Texas. Raven is shy until she gets to know you, then is a total sweetheart. Foster Update: Miss Raven is shy, but very sweet. She has excellent crate manners and is potty trained having no accidents in her current foster home. Raven looks to the resident dogs (a Doberman and a Chihuahua) for guidance in every day life. She walks well on a leash, and does not have any desire to approach new people or other dogs on walks. Raven is food motivated, and her foster mom is currently working on confidence building through leash training, exposure and patience. Raven took a few days to start to settle in and approach her foster mom for affection but now comes running for full body rubs. She does startle easily, and would do best in a home without young children though she is very tolerant of the resident 4 year old in the home. Raven will need a patient, understanding adopter that is committed to helping her live her best life. She needs a companion dog (or two or three) in her adoptive home. She does need a securely fenced yard, and her ideal adopter would have shy dog experience. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue. Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from our partner in Texas and arriving via Paws Up Rescue on 02/19/2024 to the Seattle area. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.

Adopt Raven and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Raven's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Raven's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Raven, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Raven's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Raven was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Raven’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Raven’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Raven’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
