About this Dog
Wilson has come a long way! He is about 7 years old and fully house trained/ heartworm negative. You can see how much he has changed from his photos – he came to TBBR with an injured leg, itchy skin, and no fur on his tail or nose. He has transformed into a very handsome guy! Wilson loves to walk and has good energy for an older guy – he loves a good squeaky toy and will bring it back to you time and time again. It’s clear he has not had a lot of love in his life, so he will follow you everywhere. He needs at least two walks a day to help him with his anxiety. He also loves riding in the CAR! He will curl up next to you in the evenings on the couch and will sleep quietly on a dog bed at night. Wilson has just completed a training camp and he is doing much better with his reactivity around other dogs. He is food motivated and eager to please; he will sit nicely for a treat and “shake” his paw. He would prefer to be an only dog but could be placed with a female dog if you are willing to work with him. He also needs a household without small children as he can get a little grumpy if you touch his leg in the wrong spot. He has not been tested around cats but does not seem bothered by them. Wilson is ready for his forever home – won’t you give him a chance?

Adopt Wilson and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Wilson's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Wilson's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Wilson, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Wilson's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Wilson was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Wilson’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Wilson’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Wilson’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
