About this Dog
Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog. Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites. Roux was surrendered to us when her family has had big changes in their life. We were able to get a lot of info on her. She came to us quite spoiled and seems to have ruled the roost. She's had no problem adjusting to a life where that's not the case anymore. She's a spunky little girl who loves to play fetch, inside or outside the home. She was an only dog for the first couple of years and would probably be happiest to be an only girl again. She is living with other small dogs amiably now though in foster care and does well. She just tells them off if they get in her bubble or bugs her when she doesn't want to be bugged. A confident owner(s) is what she needs and she responds well with someone really in charge. When not engaging in a good game of fetch, she's usually hanging out on a lap or laying next to her people on the furniture. She has always been to the groomer every 6 weeks. She has thin, fine fur so it has to be kept up. Even so, she doesn't care for certain areas messed with so just needs a professional groomer who will work with her. She has food allergies and as long as you read ingredient labels and don't give her anything with grains, chicken or lamb in it, she stays healthy. She will break out in hives if she gets those. She really is a fun, adorable little side kick for the right new family! Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.

Adopt Roux and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Roux's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Roux's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Roux, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Roux's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Roux was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Roux’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Roux’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Roux’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
