About this Dog
NAME: DOUGIE HOWSER AGE/GENDER: MALE 1 YEAR OLD BREED: CHIHUAHUA/BOSTON MIX? TEMPERAMENT: SWEET, OUTGOING, PLAYFUL, AFFECTIONATE WEIGHT: 15 LBS HOUSE TRAINING: Good as long as you take him out. He's not yet learned to ask on his own yet. CRATE TRAINING: Good. He eats in his crate and sleeps in his crate. OTHER DOGS: Good. He loves being around other dogs. He can be a little bossy with some dogs but overall is playful and outgoing. CATS: He ignores them. CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 8 and older ADOPTION DONATION: $550 HEALTH: DOUGIE HOWSER is neutered, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and is current on vaccines. Your adoption donation goes toward offsetting the cost of this vet care as well as other incidental costs of care. NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: We don't know much of Dougie's past, as he was most likely abandoned with a companion who unfortunately did not make it. He was quite skittish when we first got him, having been abandoned and left to fend for himself for days. However, now he's quite comfortable and confident in the home. Very affectionate and playful. Very curious. Always in everyone's business. He may be small but he has energy so he would be great in a home who is active. He's quite athletic and no baby gate will hold him back. He will either need to be on a leash or 6' fenced yard, as he can most likely scale a 4' chain link. He's up for a hike as well as a snuggle. He's very curious and social and doesn't understand that all dogs are not automatically friends with him. He's a wonderful and affectionate little boy who would make a wonderful family member! All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar (or a harness, if necessary), depending on each dog's particular needs. Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of brochures, coupons, and supplies for your new pup! ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO: Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue! We are a rock and roll themed, volunteer-run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. Motley Zoo is a FOSTER BASED organization, which means our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes (or partnering pet stores) where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. We do not have animals available for casual viewing and same day adoption. Due to the volunteer run structure and decentralized/ virtual nature of a foster based group, an approved application is required to make an adoption appointment for any of our animals. If you are interested in one of our Adoptable Roadies, please email [email protected] and request an adoption application (the auto-responder also has a link to our application). We will work toward getting you approved as an adopter so that we can set a time for you to meet your new best friend! Motley Zoo also runs "Rock Star Treatment Dog Daycare" in Redmond, WA where proceeds from this service, help support our rescue's vet budget- however, this is NOT a shelter. For more information about daycare or training, check out www.rockstartreatment.org. Please visit our website www.motleyzoo.org for more information! Thanks for considering adoption- we look forward to helping you find your best match in a furry friend. Rock on- The Motley Zoo Crew

Adopt DOUGIE HOWSER and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, DOUGIE HOWSER's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is DOUGIE HOWSER's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the DOUGIE HOWSER, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming DOUGIE HOWSER's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and DOUGIE HOWSER was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, DOUGIE HOWSER’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the DOUGIE HOWSER’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, DOUGIE HOWSER’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
