About this Dog
GIDEON NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!! Name: Gideon Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd and cattle dog mix Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of July 2024 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 60 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! Gideon prefers a home without cats or kids. Currently Living at: DC area foster homeView more cute photos of Gideon here: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjBJat2 Gideon is Looking For: This cutie (what a mix he must be, with that coloring, those markings!) ended up in the shelter through no fault of his own. He's eagerly looking forward to once again having his own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in the park, and all the adventures they can dream up. Trips to the beach - the mountains - the toy aisle of your local pet emporium all sound great. Meeting new pup and people pals along the way is high on his wish list as well. More than that, though, he wants to be safe and loved and under his own roof. In exchange, he promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship and to give you lots of laughs. What do you say? Is Gideon the one you want by your side? Do you want to be the one to do the DNA test just to see what he really is? What My Foster Says About Me: Gideon has been a real joy to foster. He has loads of personality and loves being a playful goofball. He is very friendly towards dogs and people, and warms up to strangers quickly. Whether it's squeaking toys, going for a walk or jog, gnawing on a bone, or maybe just his favorite game, tug, Gideon is always down for new adventures and experiences. However, he's just as happy cuddling, and loves giving kisses and affection to his family.Gideon has taken to crate training well and sleeps in it every night with no incidents. He knows that he has to relieve himself outside and aside from the first day of fostering, he has not had any accidents in the house, In addition to his uniquely beautiful coat and deep, soulful brown eyes, he is also extremely intelligent and food motivated. He has already learned sit, stay, lay down, shake, and fetch, and with the right practice and hopefully a few tasty rewards, he would love for you to teach him many more. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. Adopt Gideon and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Gideon's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Gideon's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Gideon, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Gideon's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Gideon was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Gideon’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Gideon’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Gideon’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
