About this Cat
Oh joy-a, it's Roya! This one-eyed beauty came to LAWS in rough shape- underweight, with a severe upper respiratory infection, and an ulcerated eye that was past saving. She has blossomed from a shy, anxious, and sick kitten in her time with us into a confident, curious, and playful young lady. Roya is the pinnacle of mischief and loves to investigate & interact with her surroundings in a very hands-on way. She LOVES to play and has grown up enjoying a variety of toys that sate her appetite for throwing, chasing, bouncing, and wrestling. Having grown up with other foster kittens, alongside two small, calm dogs, and older cats, Roya is a very social gal, and generally the life of the party. While not necessarily laid back, our lovely lady never takes anything too seriously. Anything can be made into a game as far as she is concerned, and while she can sometimes play too rough with her foster siblings, there is no mean bone in her body. Roya enjoys the company of her humans. She is the first to greet us at the door by sweetly winding herself around our legs with an arched back and upright tail. While Roya loves to be close to her people, she is far from a lap cat. She prefers her own seat on the couch, her designated spot on the bed, or supervising household activities while perched on the cat tree. She easily melts into a puddle of purrs, looking like she is smiling as she presses the top of her head into her person's hand for cheek scratches and back rubs. We are continuing to practice trusting people to pick her up and hold her, as well as being in a carrier and going on car rides. No doubt that she will overcome her concerns with patience and consistency. When it comes to meeting new people, Roya's motto is hide first and gradually inch her way into activity. She was raised in a foster home that has little room for entertaining, so she is very much family over stranger oriented. Roya is a very special cat. She has overcome such great odds in her short life with humor and grace. If you are looking for a loving cat to entertain you with her playful antics, excited zoomies, and undying affection, Roya is the girl for you!

Adopt Roya and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Roya's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Roya's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Roya, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Roya's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Roya was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Roya’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Roya’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Roya’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
