About this Dog
Paco is a sweet shepherd who was surrendered through no fault of his own. As of December 2023, he is 1.5 years old - handsome, tall and lean with beautiful fawn coloring and weighing in at close to 85 pounds. Paco loves to give hugs (wrapping his paw around your legs) and appreciates kisses on his forehead. He knows some basic commands. However, Paco didn't have much socialization when he was young so he doesn't get along well with cats, but with slow, and appropriate intros to dogs, he does pretty well! He is just the most gentle giant, ever, and is even gentle with puppies! An active home would be best as he's still young and needs some of his energy worked out. He has wicked good hearing and would make a great guard dog - he will let you know if he hears something that's not part of his normal day to day. He has a tendency to bark and growl when someone strange is close to him and he's a little timid and scared of them - all due to lack of socializing when he was young. However, he warms up quickly - he just needs to find a loving and patient new home where he can become part of the family. You'll be rewarded with love and loyalty for life! German Shepherds are typically bonded with one person, which that just entails time. Can you be his human he imprints on? His Adoption Fee Is $325! If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application. Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together! All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. If you have a dog currently, you should bring him/her along to meet the new dog so we can see how everyone interacts. Please visit our website for additional information. The online application can be found at :https://hsburnettcty.org/adoption-guidelines/

Adopt Paco and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Paco's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Paco's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Paco, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Paco's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Paco was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Paco’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Paco’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Paco’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
