About this Dog
Animal Profile: Brick is a male Ret/Hound mix (best guess) estimated to be 10.5 months old. He was surrendered to our rescue partner in Texas and enjoyed foster care there before heading to the PNW. Brick loves all dogs, people, cats and kids and is a happy go lucky pup looking for his forever home. Foster Update: Brick is 10.5 months old now! Brick is a sturdy, cheerful adolescent who loves playing with dog friends, fetch, toys, cats, human friends of all ages, and cuddling on the couch. Brick can be slightly head-shy with new people, but once he's had a few minutes to get comfortable is the most loving, friendly dog. This busy boy would love a home with a fenced yard where he can run, play, and bask in the sun, and at least one dog friend to play with. Food-motivated and eager to learn, Brick would excel at learning tricks, advanced training, or a variety of dog sports. He is crate-trained, potty-trained, and knowns basic commands such as "sit" and coming when called. In his foster home on a small farm, he lives with eight other dogs of all sizes and ages, three cats, and two horses. He's also an excellent office companion for his foster mom, who works from home. Brick is a medium-sized dog who currently weighs just under 50 pounds but looks a bit smaller (he's stocky and solid). He is good with nail trims and teeth brushing, and takes treats gently. This very good boy is so deserving of a good home and has a lifetime of love to give to the right home. We are looking for a home with a fenced yard and a canine companion. Dog experience preferred. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue. Adopt Brick and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Brick's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Brick's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Brick, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Brick's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Brick was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Brick’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Brick’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
