About this Cat
Meet Hollister - this handsome fella was adopted from us as a kitten and recently returned because his mom lost her home. Hollister has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), or wobbly kitten syndrome. CH is condition where a kitten’s brain does not fully develop due to a viral infection in the mother cat. As a result, they experience wobbliness and uncoordinated movement. There is no cure, but it doesn't not affect their overall health and they can still live long, happy lives without issue. Hollister is moderately CH; he does fall occasionally and is pretty wobbly, but gets around just fine and uses the litter box without problem. Hollister is a very sweet boy but is on the sensitive side and can become easily overwhelmed by too much activity around him, likely because of his balance issues. He would do best in a quieter home without children. He lives with other cats and does fine with them for the most part, but he can be easily intimidated so a calm, gentle and mellow kitty friend would be best. Not sure about dogs. Hollister loves to be petted and is quite affectionate. He enjoys playing with toys but canned food is his favorite thing in the world. He is neutered, chipped, current on vaccinations, negative for FeLV/FIV and recently had a dental with 6 teeth pulled. DOB 4/1/15 - tag 9902.

Adopt Hollister and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Hollister's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Hollister's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Hollister, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Hollister's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Hollister was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Hollister’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Hollister’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Hollister’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
