About this Dog
Age: Approximately 8-10 years old Weight: 16 lbs Dog friendly: Yes, can be dog selective. He gets along with the dogs he lives with Cat friendly: No Kid friendly: Best in a home without kids Potty trained: Yes, good on a schedule Crate trained: Yes, does well in the crate when left alone Max is a great little dog, but he needs a patient owner who understands interactions must move at his own pace. He loves lap time and snuggling time on his own terms. He will excitedly greet you every time you come home from work or back from an errand. He will follow you around the house, keeping tabs on you, and just likes being around you. He will sleep at the foot of your bed through the whole night. He will ask for pets and loves the chin and chest rubs. He does not like to be surprised with pets when he's not looking at you. For example, if he is lying on the couch next to you, it would be best to let him rest in peace rather than pet him without his attention on you, or he may growl and snap. If approached in this way, Max may become a bite risk. Max allows his foster to pick him up and carry him (putting him up on the bed or into his kennel) without any issues, but you will need to gain his trust before trying this. Max wants to be safe, warm, fed and loved. Max seems to prefer men, but he has lived with women who are patient with him. He's great on walks, great with other dogs, fully potty trained, and good in his kennel. He's generally a very easy foster dog. Come meet Max and find out if he could be the perfect buddy for you! Adoption Fee: $325

Adopt Max and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Max's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Max's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Max, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Max's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Max was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Max’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.

We want the Max’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Max’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
