About this Dog
**URGENT - Adopter Needed ASAP Losing Foster Home 12/3 Over FIVE THOUSAND views as of August and TipToe is STILL waiting for her forever home for nearly three quarters of a year now. One let down after the next. Why? Because this gorgeous, loving, and deserving dog has so many things going against her and is overlooked time and again as a result. First and foremost, she’s a black dog. Everybody knows black dogs and cats are the most plentiful and the most overlooked. They don’t photograph well and so they don’t stand out amidst the record-breaking number of unwanted, and at risk animals all desperately searching for a forever home. Then, on top of that, it appears that she is not good with other dogs inside the home. She appears to enjoy their company and playing with other social/tolerant dogs in a neutral environment, but as is often the case with dogs that have never experienced a stable, loving home environment, once in the home, she does not want to share her family with other animals. And she’s not good with cats. So now she also has to be the only pet in the home. Tippy has been dealt one bad hand after the next in her young 2 years of life. She was saved from euthanasia in a SC shelter where she ended up *after* having been caught in a snare trap and nearly losing her foot (doctors were able to save the foot but she lost a toe, thus the reason for her name). She clearly has been bred and is what we call a “throwaway mama”, and she has some scars on her face so who knows what else she has been through. —————————————————— Here is what Tippy’s foster parents have to say: “Tippy still has some residual puppy energy she likes to burn off. However, this heat spell has slowed her down a bit - she has omitted the evening soccer game with her human, which is fine since she likes to cheat! We don't know much about her past - we've asked her multiple times but she refuses to open up. LOL. We do know she arrived at animal control in South Carolina ensnared in a trap and as a result, lost one of her toes. But fear not, this does not slow her down (re-watch video, pls)! She likes her treats, walks and runs with her humans and foster brothers, roaming the yard, and cooling off in the water bowl (she did say she'd like a pool at her forever home because the water bowl is a bit small). :-D When the day is done, she likes eating her dinner and enjoying her treat, but not climbing the stairs to her bedroom. She wants nothing more than to stay downstairs and sprawl on the floor or snuggle on the couch with one of her foster humans. Unfortunately, this can't happen because one of her foster brothers is territorial and has made it known he's not happy with her being downstairs, so it's best to keep them separated (there is no issue when they are outside - just inside). She can't sleep in our room because she has a very strong prey drive and we have cats (ABSOLUTLEY NO CATS for Tippy). While Tippy is now cared for, she is currently spending a lot of time separate from the rest of the household due to jealousy-related conflict with the other dogs. If you are the human(s) that can provide Tippy with her best life (and possibly have a pool :), please come meet her ASAP.” *** After all this girl has already been through in her young life, PLEASE consider giving this sweet girl the loving forever home that she deserves! Time is now of the essence, as she has been waiting over 3/4 of a year. If we cannot find a forever home for her, by the start of fall, she will need to be moved to a boarding facility, which to a dog is the same as a shelter environment. In that setting, she will likely deteriorate making her even that much harder to find a home for. *** Please contact Aly on 732 604 0625 today if her story has touched your heart and you are able to help her - there must be someone out there that doesn’t not want to just be one more person to let her down!!!

Adopt Tip Toe and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Tip Toe's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Tip Toe's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Tip Toe, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Tip Toe's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tip Toe was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tip Toe’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Tip Toe’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tip Toe’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
