About this Dog
Say hello to Maggie! She is a super sweet 7 year old pup who got surrendered to a local vet and stayed in that office for a month before coming into rescue. We have been getting to know her better as she settles down from that experience. She’s a shepherd mix, maybe shepherd/lab? She’s got one ear up and one ear down, a tribute to both sides of her family tree perhaps? Also, she’s a hugger, so if that’s something you love in a dog, Maggie’s your girl! Maggie loves car rides, walks in the neighborhood, cuddles and TV with her people. She also adores dogs who are smaller than she is. She has become quite close to her 55lb pittie mix foster sister and is super curious about the cat. Her manners are improving but she is still learning how to say hello politely to dogs and people. She loves kids but again, needs work on her manners and is better suited to life with older kids, teenagers and adults. She wants to be part of the group and doesn’t do well in the crate when others are around but sleeps well in it at night or alone during the work day. She is perfectly potty trained and doesn't chew on objects she isn't supposed to. Maggie is eager to please and will continue to benefit from clear expectations and training. Her reactions to larger dogs are not always the best and she tends to “come on strong.” We are working with her on this on walks and in the foster home. Finally, Maggie is a smart girl who has so much love to give to her future family. She deserves someone who will be committed to giving her the stability and leadership for the rest of her days. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $250.00

Adopt Maggie and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Maggie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Maggie's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Maggie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Maggie's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maggie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maggie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Maggie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Maggie’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
