About this Dog
Hello there, I'm Harper, and I'm here to tell you a little bit about myself! I might be a bit shy at first, especially with new people, but once I get to know you, I'm the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. I thrive in the comfort of home, feeling most at ease when I'm cuddled up next to my favorite humans. I have a few favorite things in life. Treats are definitely at the top of my list - I can never resist a tasty snack! I also enjoy getting lots of pets and sitting right next to my humans, feeling the warmth of their presence. As for toys, I'm not too picky, but I do love a good belly rub! There's something about a gentle belly rub that makes me feel incredibly content. Now, there are a couple of things you should know about me. I might not be a big fan of commotion and loud noises, but who can blame me? I'm also in the process of learning some new commands, so I'm a work in progress. When it comes to other dogs, I get along just fine with all sizes, and I would thrive in a home with another dog to help me gain confidence but it isn't required. I do love all the attention from my people so if you are home a lot that would make me happy! Oh, and here's a fun fact: I'm not much of a barker. As for my manners around cats, you don't have to worry - I'm always respectful. I've been working hard on my leash training, and I'm getting better at it every day. While I might not be fully potty trained just yet, I'm very close, especially when I'm on a good schedule. So, if you're looking for a sweet and cute companion who loves couch cuddles, tummy rubs, and the occasional treat, I might just be the perfect match for you. I am working hard at coming out of my shell and can't wait to find my forever home and share all my love and affection with my new family! *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopters expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses . Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***

Adopt Harper and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Harper's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Harper's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Harper, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Harper's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Harper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Harper’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Harper’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Harper’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
