About this Dog
DAISY came to MOGS from a large-scale puppy mill/hoarder situation several weeks pregnant, significantly underweight, full of parasites, double ear infections, and HW+TEMPERAMENT / BEHAVIORAgainst all odds, Daisy is a sweet-tempered, loving and affection seeking girl. She loves to hang out with her people, snuggle up next to them on the couch, and relax. When relaxation time is over, Daisy is a high-energy girl, and requires daily exercise. She loves to walk, and is working on her leash skills (we're not sure she'd ever been on a leash before coming to us). She is also super smart, wants to please, and is very food motivated. She can sometimes have a hard mouth if she is excited, so is working on the concept of 'gentle' when taking treats. Daisy is working on learning sit, down, wait and free. She is crate-trained and house-trained, but isn't yet safe to roam a home unsupervised due to unintentionally destructive behavior when loose inside - she tends to runover, into and through everything still. PEOPLE and KIDSDaisy loves people of all ages and sizes. Because she is so under-socialized at this point, and doesn't seem to understand her size and strength, she would do best in a home with kids 10+OTHER ANIMALSDaisy is in a foster home with other dogs her size and energy level, and appears to be able to get along with all of their different personalities. She can be a rough player, and would likely enjoy another dog of her size and energy level. Daisy has a very intense small prey drive and is 100% NOT SAFE with cats or other small animals. She likely needs a fenced-in yard with, at minimum, a 6-ft privacy fence, due to how intensely she focuses on small prey animals when outside. MEDICAL Daisy is up-to-date on vaccines, has a current rabies tag, is microchipped and has been spayed. Daisy did test as Heartworm + on intake, and is currently undergoing treatment to eradicate them from her systerm. Daisy has no other known health issues. DOGS: CATS: KIDS: IDEAL FAMILY: If you're looking for a gorgeous, young, trainable German Shepherd who will love you forever,Daisy may be your ideal family member! DAISY'S ADOPTION FEE: $350 This fee covers only part of what we spend to vet, board and rehab the dogs we save. On average we spend over $450 on each dog. We made a decision to keep our adoption fee at the 2005 level even though vet prices have doubled and tripled since then. We are constantly fundraising to cover the deficit. At minimum, your adoption fee includes the dog's spay/neuter, heartworm test, heartworm treatment if needed, rabies shot, distemper/parvo shot, bordatella shot, deworming, monthly heartworm and flea preventives, and microchip. In many cases it also includes surgery and various types of vet treatment for standard issues such as hot spots, ear infections and so on.INTERESTED IN ADOPTING DAISY?Complete an Adoption Application Now!

Adopt Daisy and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Daisy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Daisy's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Daisy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Daisy's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Daisy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Daisy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Daisy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Daisy’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
