About this Dog
It has been a busy week for our Rescue. While preparing to keep our dogs safe during Tropical Storm Hilary, we continued our efforts to rescue four, 3.5 month old female GSD puppies. . While these puppies weren’t found in a shelter, the odds that they might in the future end up in a shelter (or worse) were trending in the wrong direction. We received word from a rescue partner in the desert that a person was giving away GSD puppies to anyone who wanted them. Unfortunately, by the time we got involved, 7 of the puppies were already gone. Sadly, the futures of these beautiful puppies were completely left to chance. . The cold hard truth is that many people get German Shepherd Dogs for breeding, or as a guard dog to be stuck in a yard with no interaction. Going hand in hand with this, many people don’t take the care to spay or neuter their dogs which is a major contributor to our overcrowded shelter system. We can only hope for the best for those puppies we couldn’t help. . Thankfully, we were able to rescue RAIN, RYLAN, RUDI and ROBBIE; our “R-Puppy” pack! These courageous pups made the long trip to the Ranch this past weekend where we had a welcoming committee ready and waiting to receive them with open arms. The puppies look amazingly similar so we had to put on different colored collars to tell them apart. . We gave them a minute to take in their new environment then we brought them in to clean them off with a quick, warm bath. Three of the 4 girls showed themselves to be pretty sure-footed and handling the change very well. The last puppy, ROBBIE, was a little timid and overwhelmed. We will work to help her with that over the next days/weeks. . With the storm coming, we moved the puppies into temporary foster care for a few days. We will be welcoming them back to the Ranch this week and will share more pictures, video, and information. So, STAY TUNED!! Please visit www.coastalgsrsd.org/to learn more about our dogs. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers. We show our dogs at adoption events every weekend! Check our our website to see where we'll be next! Adopt Robbie and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Robbie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Robbie's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Robbie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Robbie's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Robbie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Robbie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Robbie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Robbie’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
