About this Dog
Paws Crossed Dog Rescue serves the Eastern Panhandle of WV and nearby areas. Please read ADOPTION INFO on the left side of our website to learn about the adoption application process. Butchey is a 2 1/2 -year old, neutered male, weighing-in at around 35 pounds. He's a good boy that likes to be active. He was lacking in confidence and social skills. He has been in training for several months now and has done a great job ! He has learned to politely play with other dogs and make friends with many humans . He walks well on a leash and does well out in public. A dog savvy household will be best for him. Continued training would be a plus. He can be in a home with other dogs. However we believe Butchey would do best in a home with an older, mature, stable, female canine. We want him to maintain his newly acquired skills. If allowed, he can become overly attached to his human. Butchey's currently still in a boarding / training facility due to a lack of fosters in rescue. He will require a physical fence. This is not negotiable. Please read Adoption Info on the left side of our website. Email inquiries can be made to [email protected]

Adopt Butchey and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Butchey's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Butchey's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Butchey, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Butchey's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Butchey was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Butchey’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Butchey’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Butchey’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
