About this Dog
Meet Jack!! Jack has a back story that’s truly heartbreaking. He’s come such a long way with boundaries and being gentle. He’s not aggressive, he’s not food aggressive, cat/ dog friendly, house trained and kennel trained. When I say he’s dog/cat friendly, I mean FRIENDLY! He is submissive with more dominant dogs and pays no attention to the 2 cats in his foster home. He plays in the yard with 4-7 dogs on a normal basis, he does not dig holes, he never tries to escape, he’s not destructive outside and has yet to show destruction inside as well. Jack is kenneled through the day M-F as his foster works. Not sure how he would be free roaming, but he’s trained to be in a kennel during that time as a safe space for him. Jack has had issues with jumping and as a 60lb dog, it can be a lot! He was never trained correctly, or he just needed more time to learn. He’s now learned boundaries, it’s okay to be excited but it’s not okay to jump. He’s really making strides! If you’d like to hear Jack’s story or have any interest in him, please e-mail his foster directly! Jack has been in foster care for way too long. There must be a person or persons out there somewhere looking for a dog just like Jack! Up to date on preventatives, vaccines, microchipped and neutered! CARE's adoption fee is $250 for dogs/puppies and an additional $150 spay/ neuter deposit where applicable. All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, as well as microchipped. All payments are by credit card. Adopters schedule their own surgeries directly with any vet of their choosing with a surgery cost reimbursement of up to $75 (plus refund of the $150 deposit) when proof of surgery is received by CARE. Surgery is required to be done within 6 months of adoption (unless they have a vet recommending otherwise). All adoptions take place at Specks Pet Supplies 3860 W Carlos Folger Dr, Columbus, IN 47201

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Jack (lab), thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Jack (lab)'s Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jack (lab) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jack (lab)’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jack (lab)’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
