About this Dog
I love you. I love you! I looooove you!!!! Hi, I'm Draco, a lover of all people! I cannot contain my excitement and joy when I get to meet a new person. When they come in and visit with me and pet me, it is THE BEST! I’m a homebody that loves hanging out with my people while they relax and getting some quality snuggles and ear scratches. The two children in my house are my FAVORITE people. Mom won’t let me sleep all night with them, but I always try to sneak into their beds at bedtime to keep them warm until she asks me to go to my bed. Although I love going on walks and can walk loosely on the leash with the best of them, I get way too excited when I see other dogs, so we have to work on some training together so I can be the best walker ever. I’ve met dogs, big and small, at home, and it’s okay when they visit and play, but c’mon, who wants to share their people with other four-legged friends?! Can you blame me that I have been much more interested in being the only dog living in the house lately? I love sleeping in a crate and don’t mind going into mine when my family leaves for the day, but they have been leaving me in the house since I became so mature. I’m willing to run around in an open space and play if you want, but I don’t need a ton of activity. Let’s just say if mom asked me to choose between running a 5K and the couch, I’d choose the couch. Now just because I don’t run doesn’t mean I don’t love to chew! Give me some nylon toys or a bully stick in a safety holder, and I will chew it UP! I’ve learned not to eat things around the house or chew up shoes because I can really appreciate a dog toy made just for me. I am a pandemic baby, so I get anxious and reactive when I am out of the house due to not getting out much when I was young. I am 4 years old and 62lbs of (people-loving!) dog that can be trusted in the house to not potty or eat your valuables. I would love to join your family! If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Draco is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.

Adopt Draco and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Draco's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Draco's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Draco, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Draco's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Draco was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Draco’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Draco’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Draco’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
