About this Dog
Beth is a sensitive and loving young Pyr girl looking for her perfect family match! Beth is house trained, walks well in a leash, and absolutely will do anything to be able to stick her head out of a car window for a joy ride! She is great with mellow kids, given her smaller size, is fine with other dogs, greeting them appropriately, and also does well with cats - she's really flexible within a comfortable and quiet home environment! Beth enjoys long, quiet walks, running after balls in the yard, and burying (and reburying) bones - she never forgets her last hiding spot and gets very excited to "find" her own treasure. She's a typical pyrenees whose heart can be reached through special treats like chicken and cheese, and she isn't overly vocal, mainly barking only when she feels it's necessary to protect the home and people inside. Beth is a love bug who will seek you out for pets and even crawl in your lap like any good pyrenees lap dog! She's a silly, sweet, non-destructive girl with a smile to remember, and her perfect home can include polite children, other dogs, and even cats. She'd thrive with a lifestyle that includes lots of naps together, walks in nature or a quiet neighborhood, and most definitely MUST involve all the car rides her little heart can handle! - Written by K.P. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. We may consider fostering for some of our dogs who are in boarding.
