About this Cat
Meet Mushkie--an absolute sweetheart who has been through tough times, but doesn't let it define him. We rescued Mushkie from a hoarder's home after his owner passed away. Mushkie was hiding in the closet, terrified, and had been used to keep breeding kittens. He was full of testosterone and aggressive. We stepped in when another rescue was unable to get him out of the closet, and left him there. Once we got him out, we got him neutered, his hormones calmed down, and he turned into just the sweetest boy you could imagine. We were told he would be around 13 now, but he had never been to the vet before we got him, so we have no proof of that--and he acts much younger. He loves to play and snuggle--his previous fosters had to start closing him out of bedroom because he's a big cat and just wants to sleep directly on top of your chest/face! Mushkie is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If you're interested in meeting this beautiful boy, fill out an application at www.brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms and designate Jennie AnneS as the rescuer. Contact [email protected] with questions. Thank you for thinking of a rescued kitty! All adoption fees and donations go to saving the next sweetie.

Adopt Mushkie and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mushkie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Mushkie's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Mushkie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Mushkie's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mushkie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mushkie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Mushkie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mushkie’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
