About this Dog
Meet Argus! Argus entered Bonita Shelter as a stray, and when he wasn't reclaimed, we scooped him up on June 17, 2023 to become a Frosted Face. He is 10 years old and weighs 74 lbs. Argus has some lovely Malinois traits (beauty, brains and alertness) but is also an affectionate and distinguished senior gentleman. Argus is a very sweet and loves being petted and hugged. He enjoys going on our weekly FFF hikes and earns good reviews from volunteers for walking nicely on leash. Argus takes treats ever so gently and does well in a play group with several other large Frosted Faces. Argus lived in a Foster home for three months, which allowed us to learn a lot about him. Here's what we know: *Argus is house-trained. *He knows wait, sit, shake, and lie down commands (especially if there are treats!) *He walks nicely on leash and loves going for walks. *He would enjoy having a dog companion his size or larger in his forever home. *Argus likes playing with toys! *He enjoys being outdoors and would love a home with a yard. *He does not do well with cats. *He can be trusted to be out and about when home alone and overnight. *He could easily be a family dog but probably with older children only. His Foster Mom shares, "Argus is very special. Regardless of what his previous life was like, he has a heart of gold, and anyone would be so lucky to have him. I have so much love for this boy!" Come meet Argus during Open House on Saturday and Sunday 10 AM - 1 PM and see how wonderful he is! We so hope 2024 is the year for Argus to find his forever family and home … he needs it and deserves it! Adopt Argus and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Argus's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Argus's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Argus, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Argus's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Argus was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Argus’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.

We want the Argus’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Argus’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
