About this Rabbit
Hi there! I’m Retta, an English Spot with a pretty white coat and charming black markings. You may recognize me from the news when they did a story about me and my 20 other siblings after we were dropped off on the side of a lonely country road. It was a tough time, but I’ve come a long way since then! I had five babies shortly after arriving at my foster home, and I took great care of them. Speaking of babies, I must be adopted with one of my daughters, Jelly Bean. Because of my past, I’m a bit of a shy bunny, so it takes me some time to warm up to new humans. I’ve learned to be cautious around people, and I've taught Jelly Bean to be careful too. But I must admit, I have a soft spot for fruity treats like blueberries, raspberries, and bananas. If you offer me those, I’ll be your best friend in no time! I’d rather have Jelly Bean's company than too much human attention, and she’s my favorite cuddle buddy. Exploring is one of my hobbies, but I do it very cautiously. I also love digging and flipping over cardboard boxes - it’s so much fun! I’m not really into being petted, but I do enjoy spending time with other bunnies. I’ve been really good with my litter box habits since day one, but I do need a box with high sides. Hay is my favorite food, especially Timothy hay, which I munch on all day long. I also really like romaine and cilantro, which are my go-to veggies.I haven’t met children, cats, or dogs yet, so I’m not sure how I’d react to them. I need a quiet home filled with patience and kindness - if you think you might be a good fit for me and Jelly Bean, we’d love to meet you! *RRMN does not recommend our rabbits as companion animals for anyone under the age of 10* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Female Approximate birthdate: 12/19/2022 Approximate weight: 5.4 pounds Adoption Fee for Pair: $150.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.

Adopt Retta and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Retta's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Retta's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Retta, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Retta's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Retta was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Retta’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Retta’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Retta’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
