About this Dog
Age: Approximately 5 years old Weight: Dog friendly: Yes, with proper introduction Cat friendly: Unknown Kid friendly: Yes, older respectful kids Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes Meet Faith, she has and continues to live up to her namesake. She came to Healing Hearts with 9 puppies and a sheer will to be the best Mom and to find her forever family. She has been through so much but never lost her spirit or personality. Faith immediately came to our home and trusted us; she knew things were going to get better. She never lost faith in humans even though she had reason too. Once her 9 puppies found their forever homes she was able to start healing physically and emotionally. Her journey started with getting regular meals and gaining 20 lbs; she was underweight and put all her energy into being a good Mom! Once her puppies were weaned and adopted the next steps were getting her spayed and she unfortunately needed several teeth pulled. At this time, we also learned she required a hip surgery. She came though all procedures (and physical therapy) with an increased happiness. She trusted the process, she trusted humans, and she continued to have faith. Faith has met and continues to be consistently introduced to new people; she LOVES everyone including kids from infants to teenagers. Her 8 year old human foster cousin is probably one of her best friends, the kids have shown her its ok to play with toys and take treats. She never knew a life of “snacks and tennis balls” prior to Healing Hearts. She is great with other dogs with the proper introduction. She has resident husky foster sisters, and they all get along which speaks volumes to her personality coming to us with 9 puppies to watch over! Since she is used to being around us and foster siblings she would do best in a home where she could be part of a pack or with someone that is home most of the time. Her foster parents work from home and have been able to give her loads of attention all day long. She does like the comforts of blankies, fluffy beds (under the covers all snuggled up), and a couch. She is a true miracle from where she came form to where she is now and has really adapted to a lifestyle of being pampered. She loves going on walks, her foster parents take her on daily walks ranging from a couple of short walks of a mile or less to longer walks of 3 miles. She is great on a leash and likes to sniff a lot, so it’s a pretty casual pace! She is crate trained and house broke, she has a specific little bark/whine when she needs to go outside and she typically goes and stands next to the door. Her foster parents would also be doing her a disservice if they didn’t mention that she has a sweet tooth, specifically, she really likes if you give her a bite of your coconut cake or your sugar cookie! If you are looking for a pet to be by your side, someone to snuggle on the couch, and a best friend you must be introduced to Faith. Adoption Fee: $395

Adopt Faith and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Faith's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Faith's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Faith, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Faith's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Faith was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Faith’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Faith’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Faith’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
