About this Dog
Introducing the radiant Larissa! At just 2+ year old and weighing 38 pounds, she is a pointer/pitbull mix. She’s is a high-energy, smart, cuddly, ready to please, loves to play tug-of-war and fetch, enjoys going to the beach, parks, dog park. Also gives absolutely the best hugs and affection. She very much enjoys being around people and has made friends with everyone my complex. She is also good at giving you some space and she will happily lounge around next to you or on your lap. She knows many commands, sit, down, off, wait, come, place, how to leash walk, etc. Understands basics like not to be on furniture unless invited. Understands what are her toys and when to leave us alone while eating She’s doesn’t bark much or at all in the house. The exception is the occasional dog going by the courtyard fence but we are working on it. Inside almost no issues. I take her long walks, and bike rides at the mission beach boardwalk every day. Does well in the car and even in a store if need be. She’s good with other dogs after they meet or can become friends, she does not respond well to aggressive dogs or dogs barking at her through a fence. She is crate trained but would do best in a home where she is not left in a cage or pen for long periods of time during the day. I have kept her in my apartment for a few months w/o issue but would love a backyard too to help with the energy burn. She is one of the best potty-trained dogs I’ve met. Her only quirk is she is fearful of being left outside after the sun goes down, so very much enjoys being inside at night with people or in nice quiet corner. She wont want to go for walks or go outside much after dark. Sometimes she'll find a paper product like toiletpaper or plastic bags and will tear those up as a stress releaser after dark or when left alone. I’ve been working with her for a few months and just recently Second Chance Dog Rescue got her hooked up with a trainer and I am reinforcing her lessons, helping with barking through the fence making her an even better great walker/companion. Larissa's adoption fee is $300.

Adopt Larissa and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Larissa's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Larissa's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Larissa, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Larissa's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Larissa was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Larissa’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Larissa’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
