About this Rabbit
Hello there, humans! I'm Sofie, one half of the dynamic duo the Girly Whirly's – that's me and my inseparable bonded sister, Blueberry. Foster mom gave us that whimsical name, and we absolutely love it! Our journey began in a challenging way; we came from a meat breeder and had to overcome abscesses. Thankfully we've fully recovered - we're spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and in good health. Nowadays, me and Blueberry are like two peas in a pod, always together and always up to something. We're super sweet, a little silly, and extremely adventurous. However, it might take us a bit of time to warm up to a new environment due to our early experiences. We're the Girly Whirly's, and we insist on being adopted together. You can't have one without the other! Now a little bit about myself, I’m a curious girl and always on the lookout for new adventures. If there's something to chew on or a spot to jump up, you can bet I'll be there. I have a bigger personality than Blueberry; I'm the leader, the trailblazer. I’m an active gal who requires a lot of run time, but safety first! I must be supervised or in a rabbit-safe space. Our foster mom knows I can be a bit mischievous, and if I’m bored, run out of hay, or lack something to chew on, you'll hear me making noise with my pen. Occasionally, I’ll even recruit Blueberry to attempt a midnight escape to explore the rest of our bedroom. Mornings are when I really shine. I help foster mom get ready for work by following her around, circling her feet, and distracting her with my undeniable cuteness. Wherever she goes, I go. Me and Blueberry are her shadows, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Now, let's talk about my gourmet taste. I’m a bit of a foodie; I love cilantro, various lettuces, fruits, Oxbow hay, pellets, and anything else bunny-safe. Occasionally I’ll even have some carrots, basil, and parsley. Foster mom says my appetite is as big as my personality! Even though I’m curious, I’m not a big fan of being handled. If I sense anyone wants to pick me up, you can count on me making a quick escape and finding a cozy hiding spot. When it comes to cleanliness, I’m a litter box expert. But, if the setup isn't full of hay and fresh litter, well, the floor becomes a viable option. Currently, I’m living in a home with 4 other bunny friends and 3 dogs. But I have to be honest - I’m not a fan of dogs or young children. I only tolerate my respectful 14-year-old foster brother because he sometimes feeds me and gives me fresh water (which is required at least twice a day). I’m on the lookout for a family that can shower me and Blueberry with time and attention. Are you ready to welcome the Girly Whirly's into your hearts and home? All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.

Adopt Sofie and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sofie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Sofie's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Sofie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sofie's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sofie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sofie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Sofie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sofie’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
