About this Dog
Patrick is a neutered male poodle, we're sure that he's mixed with another breed but we can't say for sure what that is! Patrick came into rescue from a person that was using him strictly for breeding, so Patrick has now experienced many firsts as an adult dog and is still learning about the world and being someone's companion and friend. He is estimated to be around 3-4 years old. Patrick is seeking a home with a physically fenced in yard and preferably another larger dog that is friendly and willing to show him what it means to be a pampered pooch! Patrick will require professional grooming; he had his first visit for a hair cut on the day he was rescued and he did very well all things considered! Patrick is not a fan of car rides, so there are still some things that he will need a very patient owner to help him learn about. Patrick's adoption fee is $300 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives plus a free basic obedience course at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only and be kept current on vaccinations and preventatives, our adoption process includes a vet history check as well as a home visit. Patrick is only available for adoption within 60 miles/1 hour of Cedar Rapids, IA at this time.

Adopt Patrick and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Patrick's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Patrick's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Patrick, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Patrick's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Patrick was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Patrick’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Patrick’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Patrick’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
