About this Cat
NAME: New Orleans (part of our Louisiana group) AGE/GENDER: 2 year old female BREED/HAIR LENGTH: Domestic short hair TEMPERMENT: Affectionate, goofy, energetic WEIGHT: 8 pounds LITTER BOX TRAINING: Great! OTHER CATS: She would prefer to be an only cat. DOGS: She would likely do best in a home without dogs. CHILDREN: She'd prefer a home without children. LOCATION: She is currently in a foster home. A meeting can be arranged with an approved adoption application. ADOPTION DONATION: $150 HEALTH: New Orleans is spayed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, is current on vaccines. Your adoption donation goes toward offsetting the cost of this vet care as well as other incidental and general care costs. HISTORY: New Orleans came to us from Louisiana, with help from our friends at Great Goods Charities. Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find her a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do! NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: New Orleans is a sweet and affectionate young cat. She loves to play and is a chatty girl. She loves to explore and is a big fan of climbing her tall cat tree. New Orleans would do best in a home where she can get lots of attention and playtime. She is an energetic and playful kitty who needs lots of interaction and play time so she doesn't become tempted to nibble on your hands and ankles! New Orleans likes to be with you so she will follow you around and settle in with you wherever you sit down. She'd make a great work from home buddy as she will happily nap next to your keyboard. About Motley Zoo: Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue! We are a rock and roll themed, volunteer-run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. Motley Zoo is a FOSTER BASED organization, which means our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. We do not have animals available for casual viewing or same day adoption. Due to the volunteer-run structure and decentralized/virtual nature of a foster based group, an approved application is required to make an adoption appointment for any of our animals. If you are interested in one of our Adoptable Roadies, please email [email protected] and request an adoption application. We will work toward getting you approved as an adopter so that we can set a time for you to meet your new best friend! Motley Zoo also runs Rock Star Treatment Services in Redmond, WA where proceeds from this service, help support our rescue's $15,000/ mo vet budget- however, this is NOT a shelter. For more information about daycare or training, check out www.rockstartreatment.org. Please visit our website www.motleyzoo.org for more information! Thanks for considering adoption- we look forward to helping you find your best match in a furry friend. Rock on- The Motley Zoo Crew

Adopt New Orleans and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, New Orleans's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is New Orleans's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the New Orleans, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming New Orleans's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and New Orleans was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, New Orleans’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.

We want the New Orleans’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, New Orleans’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
